Some voices deserve to stay.
An iPhone app for capturing and preserving spoken memories, with guided prompts, on-device transcription, theme classification, and smile-linked moments on the playback timeline.
I’m Arboy Magomba. I build thoughtful experiences and the systems behind them.

From the first idea
to the smallest detail.
A few things I’ve built
From preserving a voice to understanding a system. Five explorations in making software useful.
Some voices deserve to stay.
An iPhone app for capturing and preserving spoken memories, with guided prompts, on-device transcription, theme classification, and smile-linked moments on the playback timeline.
Practice the conversation before it matters.
A voice-based interview practice platform with AI interviewer personas, streaming responses, transcripts, and feedback on pacing and filler words.
Reliability, made visible.
An SRE dashboard prototype for exploring availability, latency percentiles, and error budgets, with a Next.js interface and containerized service architecture.
A study in programmable markets.
A documented financial workstation concept exploring an OCaml matching engine, a custom strategy language, and a streaming data architecture.
More signal. Less scrolling.
A news discovery app that pairs keyword search with concise article summaries and sentiment labels, powered by a Next.js interface and serverless APIs.
The person behind the pixels
I’m drawn to the space where good engineering meets a thoughtful experience.
I build intuitive interfaces, applied AI experiences, and cloud systems. I’m studying Computer Science at the University of Oklahoma, with experience across Google Cloud, Metron Analytics, and the K20 Educational Research Center.
Away from the keyboard, you’ll probably find me following Formula 1 or chasing a better lap at the karting track. The same curiosity tends to follow me everywhere.
Where I’ve been building
Across product experiences,
AI applications, and cloud infrastructure.
Software Engineering Intern
Modernized the Google Admin Console rule-creation experience with TypeScript and Material Design 3. Worked on rendering performance, evaluation workflows, and backend streaming.
Software Engineering Intern
Reworked a live sports prediction backend into an event-driven AWS architecture, separating batch training from real-time inference and improving the data and caching layers.
Software Engineer Intern
Built product features and APIs with React, AdonisJS, and PostgreSQL. Deployed containerized services on GKE and implemented WebSocket streaming for AI responses.
